  • the Poison Management Manual (PMM) and treatment protocols for managing the poisoned patients are made available to all Emergency departments in the province. The PMM is used extensively across Canada
  • Poison Perspectives Newsletter is produced quarterly and distributed to health care professionals in acute care hospitals and public health units.

  • the Drug Information Reference (DIR) is a textbook containing more than 450 detailed monographs on the drugs most commonly prescribed in Canada; each monograph also includes patient information and a section aimed at nurses to help with drug administration and patient monitoring.
  • Drug Information Perspectives Newsletters are produced quarterly and distributed to pharmacists throughout B.C. They are also posted on DPIC's website.
